Im just wondering how long I can have my beardie out of his enclosure before his lights turn out? I know he doesn’t need any heating at night, but if I’ve had him out for a bit should I give him time to warm up before his lights go out for the night?

I also apologize if this isn’t posted in the right section, I wasn’t sure if it would belong under health or lighting.

Hiccup he is 6 and Blaze is 4
Usaully its two - three hrs after they have eaten -- but if they are out before lights out I am not sure I would say an hr or so ------------- they like it cool and dark anyway no temps below 60-65 at nite ---

You can have them out right up and past lights out. A lot of people have a routine where they bring their dragons out at night and they fall asleep on their humans cuddling.

As long as they had an hour or two to bask and warm up after their last meal, it should be fine :)

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
