About two weeks ago my beardies light fell right next to her because I was setting up her uvb arcadia t5 bulb I moved her as soon as it happend it was so quick I dont think I hit any part of her body It probably got her tail a bit but not sure her tail is a bit crooked and also has a dark spot she has never shown any sign of discomfort and has been her usual self ever since here are some pics should I be worried or is she ok?

Hi there,

The tail does look to be bruised and kinked from it. She could have broken it when the lamp fell on her.

How long have you had her? It's good that it doesn't seem to be causing any issues for her. It might just heal that way. I'm not sure exactly what a vet would do in this case.

Ok thanks she has been ok and has never shown any kind of discomfort would the bruise go away over time? Or will it be like that for her whole life?

The bruise should go away but the kink might not. I would just keep an eye on the tail and make sure it heals up ok.

I agree it doesn't look bad at all at this point. Just keep an eye on it to watch for obvious worsening condition but so far so good.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
