mouth rot?

i have a one month old beardie who is otherwise acting and eating normally. my mom got him for me from petsmart as a gift after my other one passed away due to sicknesses i couldn’t do anything about. personally, I wouldn’t have gotten another one from petsmart but I wasn’t going to return him or just throw him out.
he has been lively and eating normally, he loves his greens and crickets. recently I noticed some darker coloration on his lip that did not used to be there. maybe I’m just paranoid considering all the issues my past beardie had but better safe than sorry. he also has some darker scales on the top of his nose that just appeared. I gave him a bath to get raspberry and shed off his face but the darker colored scales didn’t wash off and didn’t used to be there. maybe he’s just changing his pattern, I don’t know. he doesn’t have any access saliva or anything, I just want to make sure it isn’t scale/mouth rot.

sort of hard to see but in between his nostrils are some darker scales that used to match the rest of his head.
forgot to add that he just shed his mouth and nose area

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
