Hey guys,

Recently, I finished my new full-wood two enclosures for my two beardies. Since one month old they've been housed in a 100x35x40 with Repti Glo 10.0 60cm neon, Exo Terra Daylight bulb and a ceramic bulb (I don't have the brand in mind right now, probably Exo Terra too as it is the only brand available in my country) with 42 °C at the basking spot and 33-34 °C cold spot.

They are now almost 3 years old (I've been using the same lightning setup for years, with their parents too) and I decided to go with 105x45x45 new homemade full wood vivs and I want to change the lightning setup also.

For the UVB I'm going to use ReptiGlo 10.0 with Repti Glo 2.0 (as they are the only 60 cm neons available here). In the pet store I found this too, anyone with an opinion about it?

Trixie Desert Pro 12.0 T8 (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Trixie-Desert-12-0-Fluorescent-Tube/dp/B00350FTW6)

Also, for the heat I've been using Exo Terra Daylight bulb but I found others too:

1) Trixie Heat Spot Pro 150W (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Trixie-Heat-Spot-Halogen-Basking/dp/B004WY4YEI)
2) Exo Terra Intense Basking Spot 150W (http://www.exo-terra.com/en/products/intense_basking_spot.php)
3) Exo Terra Daytime 150W (http://www.exo-terra.com/en/products/daytime_heat_lamp.php)

P.S: I know Reptisun is the best but I couldn't find it here.

Thank you!

My recommendations is to get rid of the ReptiGlo --- here is some info on that bulb
Which UVB light should I use?
The best UVB light is a ReptiSun 10.0 fluorescent tube HO (Or Arcardia 12% in the UK). Compact or coil bulbs do not emit the proper amount of UVB light for a bearded dragon, and should not be used. Other brands, such as the Zilla Desert Series and ReptiGlo have been known to cause eye problems and other health issues with bearded dragons, and should be avoided. The reason that some UVB lights (Zilla, ReptiGlo, coils/compacts, ect.) are considered dangerous is because the wavelength of UVB that they emit is shorter and more intense than the wavelength of the "safe" lights (ReptiSun, Arcadia). UVB lights should be replaced every 6 months. The T5’s are a strong bulb and only need to be replaced once a year – the T 8 every 6 months--- where as the T 8 are not as strong—they need to be placed inside the tank the T 5 10.0 bulb approx 12-15 inches from basking spot – the T 8 approx 8-10 inches from basking spot—the cover needs to be off the bulb for full effect of the UVB rays- if you cant find the Reptisun over there I would recommend the Arcadia bulbs they are just as good if not better-- they come in 12 and 14% bulbs and the 12% is considered a T 5---- the 14% is a stronger bulb for good size tanks -

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
