so shes 2 years old, went to the vet 2 months ago for cause she wasn't going to the bathroom for a lil over a week (she was ovulating, had a lil trouble with re-absorbing eggs, calcium tincture and a basking surface bump from 105 to 125 fixed that). Now...i noticed this skin issue (was very minor looking at the time, only on neck) maybe 3-4 weeks or so after the vet and light change. I assumed it was stuck shed as she was having a weird shed (hadnt shed in a while as well, like, oddly long despite bathing attempts). That next week my semester started and though i take care of her obviously, I didn't think much of the patch of skin and with school starting i let it slip my mind. I went away for a weekend and came home sunday to find that well...it now looks like this. It made quite a leap over the weekend, whatever it is.
I'm hoping this is just a burn or burn (s). Her belly is clean. The spot on her side had a dried yellow puss-like substance on it. She's been receiving lamasil 1-2x a day since and it does seem a little bit better. (these pics are from when I found her). I luckily, can access human-grade itrocanozole and voriconazole (not going to go into detail lol but I basically get them for free) and would start her on a powder/tincture with the appropriate size adjustments if this is yellow fungus. I am not a vet and cant afford one at them moment, but I have done enough research to know thats her best shot at living. FOr those who have used itrocanozole (easier to get in my case), were you using 5mg or less?
