Ok. So i was having a problem where my Zoo Med T8 ReptiSun 10.0 UVB was mounted. I could not get it close enough to his basking spot because my heat lamp would cover part of the fixture or the center plastic divider on the screen lid causing them to start to warp or melt. So I decided to mount the t8 fixture to the middle of the screen where I could put the basking light right next to it with out exposing it or the plastic screen divider. The UVB light is 7.5 inches away from his basking spot and basking spot temps are 109f. Really wish I didn’t a encloser so tall… Anyways before and after pics below.

As long as the basking decor piece is sitting directly under the UVB and its approx 8-10 inches away your good --- NO cover on the bulb it needs to be exposed - its easier to move decor pieces rather than the light so get it adjusted and then mess around w/ the decor ---

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
