Hello I have a one year old beardie who has recently become lethargic and her eyes are always **** and apper to be swollen. I have an appointment with the bet tommrow and am jsut curious as to what could have caused this. I recently just bought a new basking bulb for her. A zoomed powersun UV 100w and it seems to have caused they eye swelling. I have it off today to see if her eyes get better. Any suggestions or tips she's so young and I don't wanna loose her :(

Hello,

We definitely need to see some pictures so we can have an idea of your situation. If you
can review your tank setup also, that would be great.
Is she eating anything at all right now?
If her Powersun is too close it will definitely cause eye trouble. You can move it further away
& that should help out. You could even use just a basking light for a few days to give her eyes
a chance to start healing.
Do you have any sterile saline solution you can use, to wash out her eyes?

Let us know how she is doing.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
