guys I might have a possible emergency on my hands
I usually feed some of my geckos pangea and give the rest of it to my bearded
and what I do to give it him is a blunt sanded down toothpick
so he decided to bite it into what I think was into quarters then swallows the whole thing before I could grab him and get all of it out of his mouth
hes not a baby, but hes not really an adult either
Im already gonna start treating him for impaction, but Im really worried for the guy
but worst case scenario hell just have to go to the vet I guess
(pasted to here from discord if it looks weird)

That very much sounds like an emergency. Wood can't be digested. The shape seems like beyond impaction risk. I'm no vet but I worry that wood would perforate the stomach or intestines which would be a worst case scenario. Call your vet. Call the nearest 24 animal hospital, even if it is not close someone might be able to get you started on how to get treated. Don't wait

I've already started treating for impaction, so I'll call a couple vets around my area and see what they can do. Thank you for the reply, and I'll keep this post updated

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
