Stuck shed?

Postby audreyandremy » Thu Jan 16, 2020 12:25 pm

Hello all!! I haven’t posted in a while because Remy has been doing great! I recently got him a new tank, which is really nice and I think he enjoys the bigger space since he’s growing so quickly! My only concern right now is about this tiny scale of shed on the top of his head that hasn’t come off, it’s been a month or two and I’m really unsure what to do. I give him baths weekly and he sheds fine everywhere else. Any advice?

Hi there,

Do you have a picture of it? That way we can just verify it is actually shed :D

That looks like the parietal eye. It looks healthy and may shed so it doesn't stand out so much after a while. Nothing to be concerned with.
