My baby is around 17.5 inches long, a little over a year old, and quite underweight. During his last vet appt, my vet suggested getting him up about 50 grams, though he wasn’t overly concerned. He’s always been skinny but he is not malnourished, he still eats every day and more than once a day.
He had meal worms, crickets, arugula, and squash most days w the occasional super worm. He has been on baby food on and off due to a RI and a mouth injury.
His fat pads are normal, his calcium is fine, and he’s still active. He poops almost every day w out issue.
Any suggestions on how to get him up to weight? Should I continue baby food on top of what he’s already eating? Should I try other insects? He’s a little over a year so ik he needs lots of veggies, are there any that will help him gain weight?
