I don't think so. Are they moving ? When did you first see them and can you wash them off ?

no.

I can see a couple tiny black spots, if they are mites they will move about.

I haven't seen them move, they don't move when I lightly scratch them, or run my finger across them. I just noticed them today. I will try washing them off when I give him a bath tomorrow. He is in shed right now so I've been bathing him every other day.
