Our Beardy is going on 6 years. was to vet about 6 weeks ago and diagnosed with a mild infection, put on antibiotic for 21 days. is still lethargic, not eating or pooping normal. We got him to eat 2 worms and 2 crickets and a blended mix (carrots, mustard green, banana, apple) he vomited up what he ate. I am wondering if the antibiotic killed his gut flora and it needs replaced. Any idea on how?

Poor guy. What kind of antibiotic was he on? 21 days is a long treatment so he may not be feeling well from it. You can offer probiotics to try and help https://bug-de-lite.com/Item/Reptophilus I would also offer plenty of water to keep him hydrated. Not a lot at once but frequent small drinks (as much as he wants). You may want to keep him on soft foods for now. Baby food squash, green beans, and sweet potato have worked well for me in the past. You can also blend up a custom smoothie with his favorite veges and water. Just strain it until it's about baby food consistency and see how he likes that.

Hello,

Poor thing, what antibiotic was he given & how much did he get?
Depending on which antibiotic he got, a lot of them can really upset their systems.
How much is he basking? Is he black bearding right now?

Let us know how he is doing.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
