Hey guys.
So I managed to find an old X-ray of skittles & it does appear as though she has water in her lungs.
Here is her first xray:

& here is the Xray which she appears to have water or something in her lungs.

What do you guys think I should do? I have a CHE I'm trying to dry out her lungs.
Thanks

They said she has water in her lungs in the second xray.
The first xray should be fine I took that one a couple years ago
& she's making a popping noise & I cant seem to figure it out.

Hello,

Did the vet seem concerned about water in her lungs? If she is having symptoms like a
respiratory infection starting, that does need to be cleared up so it wont go into pneumonia.
Are you keeping her warmer overnight, around 80, to help boost her immune system? If
the symptoms don't go away you might consider getting her started on reptaid which seems to
be pretty effective, or a general antibiotic to clear it up.
What is the humidity in her tank, on average?

Okay.
They didn't seem overly concerned but she's definitely making a popping sound when she puffs her beard.
& she's not eating & she's suppose to be in brumation so I'm kind of concerned.
(She's basking, & I dont think they bask during brumation.)
Yes temps at night are 80 I have a CHE.

I'm having trouble keeping her hydrated since she's not eating.

Why do you say she's supposed to be brumating? They will brumate when they feel the need to, and if she's out basking, she isn't brumating and doesn't want to brumate it sounds like. And that's perfectly fine.

I've used reptaid in the past it can help. It also seemed to help with the appetite however I'm not sure if that was caused directly by the reptaid, or if it was caused indirectly from the reptaid relieving another symptom.

It sounds like if she does have some fluid in the lungs that it's not too bad and hopefully can be remedied pretty easily as long as you get after it right now.

What are you doing to try to keep her hydrated?

Okay I bought the reptaidXL
& Do I just follow the dosage or is there a special dosage for RI
Usually she's brumating at this time.

She hasn't got water for 15 days & she's not eating
IDK if it's brumation.
She's not eating or drinking
Right now she's hiding

Hello,

How are things going for your girl tonight?
The Reptaid has been shown to help boost the immune system & is supposed to be pretty
effective against respiratory infections, too. I would just follow the dose on the directions as
it can be strong & has pau d'arco in it which could be overpowering in too large of amounts.
Are you wanting to give oral colloidal silver, or nebulize the silver?

I was going to give colloidal silver orally.

I was wondering if I should start making slurries cause she's not eating or drinking I'm wondering if it's brumation.
I'm not sure though.
She lost 25g in 10 days.
Her che is on at night though.
That might be why

EDIT; so I dunno if it's brumation.

Baby bearded dragon is not basking either.
When I had him in his own room he would constantly bask.
Now I have to put him up there.
So what's going on here
Anyone know?
It's so weird he basked all day when he wasn't in my room
Ever since he's been put in my room he doesn't wanna bask
Temps are all the same.
He'll bask occasionally.
But I mean honestly this is so weird to me.
I would check him all the time in the other room. He would be chilling on his basking log waiting for food. I had a camera & checked it occasionally, always basking.

Now I notice him not wanting to bask much
& I checked my adult for parasites cause she might be brumating
& she's clean.
It's so strange to me

Hi there. :) If the baby was put in a different room he/she may feel insecure now and a bit stressed. To the baby dragon it looks like it's in a new home, everything different. As long as he's basking + eating some he should settle in shortly.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
