My baby beardie (around 3 months of age) has been refusing to eat for the past couple of days. He’s been eating great the last few weeks, but starting the day before yesterday, he hasn’t wanted to eat. I’ve fed him as much as he will eat, which is 6 crickets a day. Today he only ate around 6 and was refusing to eat. He looks fine, is hydrated well, and has healthy poops and urates. He has even been refusing veggies, which he loves to eat. I don’t know what is wrong with him.

Hi there,

Is he in the process of shedding? or about to shed? A lot of times their appetites drop when they go through shedding as it's a seemingly annoying process for them.

Could you post a picture of your dragon and your setup?

We could go over your husbandry with you if you'd like. That would help rule out any husbandry issues that might be causing the low appetite.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
Taking my beardie for a walk
