Yup, their bodies are capable of healing themselves just the same as our bodies can. We typically are a bit cleaner then they are though, so open wounds should be taken care of but tail rot is definitely a worst case scenario, and one that isn't oh-so common :)

But, if things develop, we are here to help. I am about positive though that everything will heal up just fine :)

OK, thanks for the reassurance! Do you think then that a lot of the youtubes out there aren't actually dealing with true tail rot?
What are your thoughts on beardie probiotics? I'm wondering if it might be an idea to support his wee system through getting his tail better.
Thanks

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
Taking my beardie for a walk
