Hey guys
So I moved my little guy out with my other bearded dragon.(different tanks)
I'm just wondering how long does relocation stress last?
He's still young & he had such a great feeding response in the other room.
In here not so much(moved him here yesterday)

Give him a week or so -- as long as only the view changed and nothing in the tank he should be fine- I moved my baby into a 120 gallon tank yesterday and today he was on the new basking log and basking and eating - in fact he ate a lot this morning - was surprised --- but it doesnt seem to have phased him too much- can the baby see the other dragon? Lets hope not or that will stress him out as well - just keep an eye on his eating --- and if he can see the other dragon I would fix that so he cant ---

He should not quit eating completely-- it will slow down but not all together-- has he not eaten anything today?

Nothing today.
Yesterday, he ate quite a bit. 27 med bugs
Today, he did that eye bulge they do when their shedding.
So maybe shedding-related as well as some relocation stress?

Yep it will have an effect ---- he ate alot yesterday so tomorrow feed him vegies first -- w/ a worm small super or some BSFL on top of salad to get him to the bowl---- you want him eating vegies now - if all he gets now are bugs you will have a hard time getting him to eat vegies when hes closer to a year --- then about an hour or so later feed him his dusted bugs-----
I use a glass smooth sided dish for my dubias --- they can get out and Blaze climbs in the bowl to eat them --- I also add a little more vegies in that bowl so hes getting both at the same time --

Okay.
Would love to get some dubias for him, he's only had them once but he went nuts over them.
I'm not sure if he's been eating his salad.
I offer but now I'll be able to watch & see if he's eating his salad
I also gutload his insects.

It's weird.
He only takes food from my hand.
He's hand-fed & that's just how he takes his bugs.

Well you want him eating and if hand feeding is doing it do it --- you will be able to keep track of how much hes eating --- you can order dubias on line from suppliers on Amazon or I go thru www.dubiaroaches.com--- they charge shipping but if your order like 200 small roaches and other things like super and BFSL and what ever else you see its good and worth the money --

Okay.
I have a reputable breeder in the area.
Is it worth buying them online, are they cheaper?

Probably not --- if you can get them from the breeder do that ---

everything is right it's just like my other tank.
Why would he be hiding with his eyes shut?

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
