Good to hear that she's active! Hopefully the breathing is not signs of an R.I. Can you by chance post a video of it ? If you can find a competent Reptile vet it may be good to have her looked at, mainly for the breathing but you can wait a day or 2 to see if it's really a problem or just breathing heavy from exertion due to her increased activity .

Hopefully her increased activity levels are the cause of her breathing issues. Let us know
how she is coming along. A video as suggested if you can would be great.
I'm sure her back legs are very weak though. You could try some water therapy for her. If
you do that, to try & get her to swim for strengthening her back legs, hold onto her & let her
hold onto your hand. They can drown easily but especially if she is not very strong.

Perhaps she is starting to calm down too which would decrease her breathing problems now.

I recommend getting her off the sand- you can replace w/ paper towels textured non adhesive shelf liner-- or slated ceramic tile both are cheap and bought from home Depot or Lowe's easy to clean w/ vinegar/ water 50/50 in a spray bottle
