Bearded dragon tail

Help pls.just got a bearded dragon two weeks ago and his tail has went a really odd colour.could this be tail rot or is it just shedding?

Looks like just a bit of dirt or poo at the end

I see nothing concerning there

Possibly nipped or damaged at some point. It doesn't look like a problem as it is, but keep an eye on it and watch out for damaged or shriveled looking scales traveling up the tail which may indicate a problem.

For some reason it’s not letting me post another photo but the other side of the tail is a bit black.is that anything to be concerned about?

Not necessarily an issue. Dark areas around the tail are pretty common. As far as the upload page goes, try refreshing it a few times and try again. Sometimes it gets hung up and doesn't process the upload for some reason.
