This bulb is no good 10.0 Compact UVB Fluorescent Bulb, and Repti Basking Spot Lamp. You want a Reptisun 10.0 bulb TUBE either the T 5 or T 8- the T 8 is more common --- it needs to go inside the tank approx 8-10 inches from his basking area------------ as long as the basking bulb is a bright white bulb you are good there and is keeping temps 95-105 or so -when getting the fixture/hood installed in the tank make sure the cover is off the bulb -- you want the full effects of the UVB rays---------- yes please get the infrared gun -- your temps are not correct --- once you get the bulbs separated the basking and the UVB you will be able to better control those temps-- UVB does not give off heat that is why its better to separate them --- here are some ideas for hanging the fixture in the tank
command Velcro fasteners- picture hanging wire – plastic zip ties
here is a website for nutrition

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
