i’ve seen this on youtube before of a bearded dragon using its back leg and foot to scratch its head and i wanted to know if it was normal? i just saw my bearded dragon do this for the first time but i am wondering if it has something to do with her shedding? she just started and she has some shed on the top of her head that just started coming off.

Hello,

Yes, they do this on a regular basis when their head or face area is going to shed. Or, at least
our male does this. I think it's a pretty normal behavior also. It is pretty cute when they do use
their back foot to scratch their head.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
Taking my beardie for a walk
