you know you are a beardie owner when - you find yourself talking to your beardie in public more than socialising with other people ?

you know you are a beardie owner when - you hang out with your friends and they ask more about (how’s your beardie?) without asking how are you itself lol ?

Lol, that or you find escaped crickets in the most random of places, like one time I found one in the shower... on the other side of the house, one time I woke up and found a cricket on the ceiling... I was like "how?! Just how?!"

Mine usually loves being patted on the head, but she has a bit of skin that won't come off there now. I went to pet her the other day and she first swatted at me, then scratched her head with rear claws like a dog lol

I'm prepared for the next order of Super worms.

Also, I knew I was in my place as a slave while stirring a tablespoon of slurry with a toothpick for crickets

That slurry I mixed up yesterday, just 1 tablespoon drowned 2 crickets. I added 5 tiny walking stick bridges so the dum dum crickets don't drown eating their super nutritional feed that I want them to eat and get gut loaded. The "bridges" are spaced so the antenna can touch one at all times for the size crickets I got.

You know you're a Beardie owner when the sensory processing skills of crickets are something you have to research and apply in a practical manner.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
Taking my beardie for a walk
