So my order for Dubias got delayed for 2 days (I’ve started a colony but hasn’t made enough nymphs for my baby beardie) I live in a very small town, and the only pet store that sells live feeders have WAY TOO big Dubias for him! Can I feed him those gourmet mix with dry insects for now until I get his live dubias??

The petstore doesnt have crickets or other live feeders you can get?

In the grand scheme of things, two days without feeders isn't the end of the world. Just offer salads if you can not get any feeders.

IME the dried insects never get eaten by my dragons.

The crickets were also huge in size!! Then there are super large hornworms, mice, and other feeders that aren’t for beardie :(

Quick trip to the petshop to buy a jar of Repashi Grubpie as an emergency standby .

You could also pick up enough crickets or roaches or locusts (of suitable size) to tie you over in such a situation.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
Taking my beardie for a walk
