This forum is specifically for people who want to share day-to-day stories about their beardies... the weird or fun stuff. This is not a forum for seeking help, but more just for sharing the cuteness that is your beardie.

OMG!!! This is so true, LOL!!!!
The wonderful world of bearded dragons is a magical land of mystery, enchantment, cuddles, love and, worry! A mysterious realm where things always seem to change in an instant and, the moment you think you have it all figured out, the rules change! You think you own your dragon, guess again. You are now a slave!!! RIP Peaches 10-1-18 Forever in my Heart

lol I've had a lot of dragons in the Past year and a half of having them, I recently figured out how to tell when they are about to poop, So when they get in the position I can move them Quickly enough To a more easier to clean area. They basically get like this when they are about to poop: [Click image to enlarge]
So when they get into a position like that (anytime the base of the tail Is raised up but the end of the tail is still on the ground) I can Move them to a easier to clean area.

I was going to mention the telltale arch at the base of the tail, but HippieLizards beat me to it with a really good photo.
As for the smell, I’ve learned that if it smells like rotten eggs, you probably better check for a gas leak. But if it smells like rotten eggs plus ammonia (urate), it’s probably just your beardie.

Lmbo Thanks... I practically document everything on my beardies just in case. Yeah it does smell like rotten eggs.
