So, my bearded dragon Spike is 7 weeks old tomorrow. And he just sits on his log most of the day. When I first got him in the first week or so he would let me pick him up no problem, but all of a sudden like for the past week every time I try and pick him up he wriggles his way out of my hand. My mum keeps telling me to pick him up every day, but I feel like he doesn't like me or doesn't want to be picked up whenever I try. I know I need to hold him every day as a baby so he gets used to being held, but he won't let me, any suggestions???

It just takes awhile. They are usually pretty calm when being handled the first week or so because they are still stressed from the move. When they get over him that they get a bit spunky sometimes.

You just gotta keep working with him :)

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
