Enclosure feedback

Postby Lexylexyy » Sat Apr 20, 2019 12:10 pm

Hi there! Could I possibly get feedback on my bearded dragons enclosure ?

Has basking bulb 150 watts, using Reptisun t5 HO 36inch and he’s in a 55 gallon tank!
Also, how often does the Reptisun t5 need to be replaced?

From what I understand the T5 5.0 HO is similar to the T 8 -- so it would be 6 months- the 10.0 bulb T 5 would be a year--- I would put another hide in your tank over on the right side of tank that has a platform w/ cave type in there -- you can find what I am talking about at Petsmart.com-- it would be good for him/her to bask on under the UVB-- just a suggestion

If I can make one more suggestion it would be a tall basking branch /log sloped to get beardie closer to the uvb.
