Christmas Cactus Ingestion

My 3-4 year old beardie, Eli, recently dashed over to one of our houseplants (a christmas cactus) and bit off a leaf while outside of his tank. My partner and I have had Eli for about a month (adopted from my local vet) and I think what we're realizing is that Eli is not shy at all, but took a few weeks to get used to us and his new home! We were shocked that he not only 1) ran but 2) ate something that we weren't placing directly in front of him. At first we both panicked because this forum seemed to be split between thinking eating Christmas Cactus was no big deal and not being sure. We called the emergency vet number but they said just to keep an eye on his behavior. It's been almost three days and he had done nothing out of the ordinary so far. No vomiting, no irregular movements or behaviors. He has eaten dandelion greens and some superworms since then. He's also had a bath and visibly drank some water. Does anyone else have experience with a bearded dragon eating christmas cactus? I'm nervous about asking because I feel like I just stopped obsessing over the issue haha

Forgot to mention: the first thing we did was make sure all the houseplants were moved out of his reach!

I don't think that will cause a problem, and if it has already been a few days and he is behaving normally you're probably in the clear. Toxins tend to affect them rather quickly.

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
