I don't live in NJ anymore, but here in CO there is one reptile vet near me who has boarding space, so maybe there's one near you too. Because they wanted an arm & a leg for it, I ended up putting an ad in our neighborhood newsletter and got about a dozen responses! I was really shocked given how some people react when you tell them you have a lizard as a pet. That worked out great because I got house-sitting for free :lol:
I guess you could also ask your local reptile store if they would consider it. It's a long shot, but you never know.
