I recently ran out of kale and arugula, and all I have is Green leaf lettuce. Is this alright to feed to my beardie? He's around 5-6 months old

Hello,

The green leaf lettuce will be alright but for short term. How long will you be out of the kale &
arugula? It has a higher water content so give in moderation so it wont give him diarrhea or
anything.

Lettuce is nutritionally useless .

If he's 6 months old, It wont hurt him to go without salad for a week or more. He really needs his bugs (at least 2 feeds per day at that age).

Green + red leaf as well as romaine are O.k, they certainly do have nutritional value but are not as good as the greens like turnip, mustard, collard, arugula, dandelion, kale. You can use a little bit of the lettuce but go back to the others once they are available since they are more nutritious.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
