Marlow’s 9months old , 14” long ( small due to being in a tiny tiny viv before we adopted him a month ago) and weighed for first time today

Can you sit him in a larger tub or box then weigh him ?

…. unfortunately if his tail is resting on the benchtop , the weight indicated is lower than his actual FULL body weight.

By comparison my gang at 10 months old :
Puff (M) 311.5g
Rex (F) 329.5g
Peppa (F) 383.4g
Toothless (M) 341.3g

At 6 months old my gang were
Puff (M) was 176g
Rex (F) was 221g
Peppa (F) was 242g
Toothless (M) was 175g

He looks healthy. Kingofnobbys is right about the tail resting on the ground though. Try a large shoebox lid or similar on the scale and tare it. That's what I use for Darwin and it works well.

I just re-weighed him. I used a small box and he weighs 246grams ( that’s with boxes weight already taken off)
He’s 9.5months old and he’s 14inches long

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
