Another think to consider is.... is she egg bound? This can be fatal if not treated in a timely fashion. The black bearding is a bit concerning to me.

Yes, we believe she is egg bound now thanks to all the wonderful advice from you guys!

We are going to set up a basking box for her ASAP, but if you guys have any procedures or tips we should be aware of please let us know so we can take the best possible care of her as possible!!

Thank you so much again for all your help you guys! :)

You need to get her to a certified herp vet ASAP . You don't want to wait and, let them go septic.

The beardie is scratching frantically + needs the box right away, can't wait for this at all.

Hello,

Goodness, since she is that desperate, she is likely egg bound or having some major trouble
with laying. Since there has been some blood, this does warrant a vet's visit as soon as you
can get her in.
Making a laybox for now is a good idea but a vet's visit has to be top priority. She could be
low in calcium, or have an irregularly shaped egg that she can't pass, etc, there is just no telling
what could be going on at the moment.

Please let us know how things are going.

Thank you!

Unfortunately, there are no certified vets for bearded dragons where I am located and the vets nearby only see dogs and cats, and don't really have any experience in beardies.

I am in the process of making a laybox for her, and we'll be putting her in it tomorrow.

I really do hope everything is okay. She is still eating and pooing. Is there any specific types of food that would be good for her right now?

Ho Chris, can you start your own thread ? Then people can help you get help for your dragon's specific problems and it won't get confused with this dragon in this thread. Hope we can help you with him !

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
