You can use a spray bottle and mist him, outside of his tank, of put a water dish in there and see if he takes interest. I wouldn't leave the water bowl in there too long though because of humidity :)

Yeah misting his nose or dripping water on his nose is a good way to offer extra hydration. They tend to get what they need for food though so make sure the bugs are getting well hydrated on fresh veges so that is passed along to him.

He'll probably just close them. You just need to drop a little on the tip of his nose or just above. If he wants a drink he will probably tilt his head forward for it to drain to his nose and lick it. That's what they do during rainstorms in the wild.

Like Cooper, I drip/spray water for all my beardie's hydration needs. You don't need to take him out of the tank at all, humidity levels are no problem because you are not saturating the tank . I've done this for every baby I ever hatched, which are many. They drink less often as adults but babies will usually drink daily or every few days this way.

I tried spritzing some near his mouth and it just kinda sat there. Didn't lick it off or anything, lol! maybe he's just confused.

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
