Glass surfing

My bearded dragon is in a 75 gallon pvc enclosure. All his temps are correct, measured with digital thermometer/hygrometer and a temp gun, his substrate is paper towel, he gets his daily bugs and salad and his scheduled supplements. He gets short baths twice a week. His lights are off 12 hours a day. He gets water by a dropper. His uvb is a reptisun 24" t5 tube and he can get within approx 8 inches of it. He has yearly fecal exams and check ups.
Problem is he tries to surf the plexiglass like crazy. Idk if I take him out too much or what. I usually take him out 30-40 minutes a day.

He probably just wants out to explore. Taking him out of the tank is fine (and I encourage it). I set up portable basking lights in my house so my dragon can roam freely when I'm home. Just make sure he is in a safe area when he's out so he can't get stuck anywhere or eat any small bits off the floor etc. They also tend to really enjoy sitting in window sills and looking outside.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
