Tail rot

Just noticed a little notch on my baby beardies tail. It's not black or very noticeably darker than the rest of his tail but I'm worried it could be tail rot. Anyone have advice? I have pictures but I'm not sure how to attach them.

Does the tail look like it's going to shed? A lot of tail tips are a slightly different color than
the rest of the tail.
Pictures would be helpful though. Is his appetite good?

Thank you I got the picture up now. He did just start shedding so that could be it. He hasn't been acting weird and he has been eating normal. I'm just alittle worried
