Scratching at substrate?

Postby Flapjack6260 » Mon Aug 20, 2018 2:26 pm

For the past couple of weeks, my beardie has been scratching at her substrate inside her hide. As you can see from the pictures below, she scratches A LOT. This is only after like 2 days. I have to replace the paper towels inside her hide every couple of days. Why is she doing this? Is there anything I can do to stop it?

Hi. She might be gravid. Is she restless? Having little poops?

You could get a roll of non adhesive shelf liner to line her tank, it’s so easy to clean, bugs won’t hide under it & cheap. She might like some fleece blanket scraps to dig & hide under. Mine loves his little blankets.

She is only 3 months old  I will admit, she looks full grown in the pics.
