Salad anyone!

Have had Iggy for 5 months now, and he's growing like a weed. Iggy just down right refused to eat salad and I mean I tried everything. Different greens, sliced carrots, sliced apples, basil, green peppers and the list goes on. I tried in the morning, the afternoon, and the evening with no success. So I was letting Iggy pick out his silkworm, which by the way they only eat mulberry leaves and Iggy choose the leaf instead of the worm, go figure. So, the light went off and I escorted Iggy to the Mulberry tree where he proceeded to pig out on leaves. Wow, I thought to myself.

Now, Iggy gets Mulberry leaves with extra goodies tucked in, which I might add he loves. So, the moral of the story is, if your bearded refuses to eat salad, try starting with Mulberry Leaves! We live in Florida, so I planted two tress for a ready supply of salad fixings.

A little known secret, my beardies love mulberry leaves, too ! I have a tree in my back yard and that is their fave. green. :) Try clover leaves as well.

It grows in many states naturally right in your yard if you don't spray weed killer. Parts of Florida may have it, other parts may not.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
Taking my beardie for a walk
