I currently have my beardie light cycle on from 6am to 10pm. I live in Washington state. When do I cut back on his day cycle ?

If you don't need the dragon to brumate
In what situation would you need your dragon to brumate??

I've been told by breeders that getting a dragon to brumate is believed to increase their reproductive productivity. I don't believe if it's a companion animal and you are not really interested in breeding , that brumation is necessary.

None of my BT skinks, beardies or pet water skinks have ever brumated. I simply keep the photoperiod long , and the temperatures about the same all year round.

Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
