So my beardie still will not open her eyes.
I saw her open one of her eyes and it was all white and red, but then quickly switched back to her normal eye. I've never seen her do this and I'm quite freaked out.
She only opens for seconds at a time, just to get a look around.

People keep telling me this is normal well she's not acting herself!

Please help me I do not want my beardie to go blind.

EDIT:She's just sitting on the ground, both eyes shut.
I have taken a video of the eye twitch

I just put in her old bulb.
It should have about a week left.
I'm getting a new bulb soon.

Can you post the video to a host like vimeo or youtube and link to it here?

Did the white/red part of the eye look like this?

Yes thats what it looked like.

She's not really eating and keeps her eyes shut

I was worried because she stopped eating her blueberries and thats her favorite

That's the nictitating membrane that is part of the inner eyelid. It's closed to clear irritants/protect the eye and keep it moist. This is seen often during shedding along with eye bulging (Darwin was shedding when I took that photo as an example).

If she is not eating and ignoring her favorites though that may indicate an underlying problem. Can you post some current photos of her? Is she showing a dark black beard or is she losing a lot of weight?

I talked to my local reptile shop
They said to pinch his skin and check hydration
They said 2 baths a day with unflavored pedialyte for 3 days

08/01 she weighed 718G

Today she weighs 690G

I can get some photos up here soon

That's a fairly big drop in weight. Sometimes poop and lack of food can account for that though so keep watching how her weight is trending. I don't find the skin pinching to be a reliable way of testing hydration since their skin is often wrinkly if they aren't puffed out or pancaking. It's better to check poop to see if it is dry looking. I think the pedialyte is a waste of money. Plain water for baths and hydration works and offering pedialyte in a bath won't make much difference unless she drinks it. A little bit probably won't hurt but I'd be concerned about her ingesting so much sugar with something like pedialyte or gatorade.

Okay well I gave her a pedialyte bath like I was asked.
I am about to contact a vet.
I know a good vet.
last stool she had was watery and urate was white.
Smell horrible though.

So I'm not understanding the dehydration part there telling me, her urate is white.

Basically what she's doing now is sleeping under her log.
even after the bath.

How often is it messy and smelly like that? Diarrhea can cause dehydration but it sounds like it's worth having a fresh sample tested by the vet to check for parasites if it's really smelly combined with the lethargic behavior.

Well its well formed just lots of water in it and smelly
It's been like that maybe the past few times she passed
She has been very lethargic

I can get a stool sample.
When do you recommend that?

My vet is along drive.

The well formed and excess water shows hydration. It could be diet related and a red herring but the combination with lethargic behavior should probably be checked out. I would get a stool sample as close as you can to when you visit the vet and keep it cool and stored in a ziploc bag.

Okay
Well I just weighed her today
And she actually weighs 701G, not 690.
I just weighed her

She's still lethargic

Anyways I have never done a stool sample so I probably should.

Hello,

Is she doing any better?
Her behavior sounds normal as they do bulge their eyes & the membrane movement helps
clear the eyes as mentioned previously.
I would get a fecal done on her though, just to determine if she has worms or parasites
making her ill.

She did come out today who knows maybe she'll start basking.

Okay thanks.
I'll E-mail my vet about the fecal test

EDIT:
She's basking now so thats a good sign.
I gave her a bath and all the sudden she wants to bask.

My beardie definitely seems hydrated and getting plenty of food.
I can post a pic of her fecal, this time it didn't smell at all.

So what's the process in sending in a fecal sample?
Do i put it in a cooler with ice in a bag or something like that
My vet is pretty far.
I know I might not be able to send this one in, it's too late.

She ate 2 hornworms today
That's all she ate today then went to hide under her log. I put her back on the basking spot for now so she can digest her food
I have contacted my vet and asked about testing a fecal sample.
Hopefully I can have this next sample tested

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
