Hi!
I’ve had my baby beardie for almost two weeks now and I am curious about taking her outside. I don’t want to stress her out but I wanted to bring her out in the nice weather!

IMO It would be too stressful for a baby because they'll have to watch out for predators, cars, and birds and other dangers, plus the beardie might dart at any moment if it's a baby (and trust me, they're super fast). IMO I would just wait until it's a bit older and more settled in.

You could let them sit in the window sill. If you have a screen it could also let them get some uv. They love looking outside.

My babies went outside from within a week or two of when they hatched. As long as you keep an eye on them it's fine and they get used to the outdoors pretty quickly. Little guys do well in a child's pool but you have to be sure it's not too hot out and that you provide artificial shade. Here's a picture of a group of babies. Larger dragons need a screened cage , they are able to easily jump out of the plastic pool.

Hawks in the area seem to have no interest in the little buggers.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
