Please Please Please Help!!

Postby MrAndMe » Thu Jun 28, 2018 4:48 pm

Ok so Mr is in shed. He is shedding his head and he started the actual peeling today. I decided to give him a bath and on the way back to his terr. he jumped out of my hands and landed on the floor  . I picked him up and brought him back to his terr. so Him and I could calm down. After a min or so i took him out and noticed he was still breathing kinda hard and would open his mouth some. Im really scared. I put him back in his tank. Is this just a sign of him streching his skin so he can shed or did I hurt him :( Please help!!!!

Hello,

How far of a fall did he take & was it onto carpet, tile or wood?
Is his beard black or darker than usual?
It's hard to know whether or not he is hurt but you should watch for loss of appetite, lethargic
behavior, limping, blood in stool possibly, or general overall darkness like the tip of the tail or
the beard.
When shedding the head & face/beard area, they often open their mouths, or beard to stretch
their skin before shedding.

Hello,

That is great news he is doing just fine! :D
I'm happy to hear he wasn't injured from the fall.
