Baby beardie standing up...??

Hello!
A couple days ago my friend was over and I told him he could hold my bearded dragon, Mushu. I told him to try and feed some arugula to Mushu and suddenly he stood up on his hind legs and just started eating! I've never seen this before, and he didn't seem angry at all. Just stood up and munched on his lettuce for a good 3 minutes. Whenever I look this up the only answers I can find are about standing up and leaning against the glass or standing up when they run away. Has anyone ever seen this before and does anyone know if it means anything? Thank you!

I've got BTs, and a water skink who do that , even my pig girl Peppa still does it occasionally.

No doubt about it …. the little beardies have some very endearing behaviours and never fail to be entertain.... he really wants what you are giving him …. :)

Lol that is adorable. :love10: Daisy will do that sometimes to get to a superworm. She uses her tail as a counter balance and then stands up. It's adorable when she does it and even more adorable when your beardie does it. :D He/she also looks so happy about it. :love10: :love10:

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
