I bought a hollow wooden log piece that Smaug likes to bask on. Unfortunately, he also thinks it the toilet. It's a pain to clean the poo off because they drying time is forever. Is there something safe I can seal it with to make it easier to wash off and dry?

Since it's a basking log I probably wouldn't seal it as the seal may break down after constant contact and heat exposure. I usually rinse my driftwood pieces off and wipe them clean and then bake them in the oven on low (~250 or so) for half an hour which both sanitizes and dries them.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
