Hello everyone, I have a one year old dragon about two weeks ago he stopped eating, I mean he eats a few crickets here and there, but not his veggies. Should I be concerned?

I know a few weeks ago it was really cold here in Fl but it's warming up know so I don't know if the cold weather has something to do with this behavior

Oh and by the way he look good as far as weight goes

Thanks so much

At that age, though late in the year, he could be going through brumation. Brumation is the equivalent of a bear’s winter hibernation, but the dragon’s body doesn’t shut down as completely as the bear’s and only becomes dormant. Are there any other symptoms? Is he still basking?

Yeah it could be an issue with shedding to lighting or possibly brumation. It's good that his weight seems stable. I would weigh him regularly and keep a log so you can track that for sure. Is he otherwise alert and active? Or is he sleepy and hiding?

I need help too. I have a baby beardie that I just got and he won’t eat. He did just shed. Does that have to do with anything?

Yes he's alert and active, it's just the eating part I'm concerned about. I still put food daily even if I have to throw it out at the end of the day. I also but his crickets to

Thanks so much guys

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
