Hi,

My beardie as of late has been on and off active. He was active when he woke up from brumation and was active for a while but is now not eating as much and sleeping all day instead of basking... Could he be going back into brumation because i woke him up early? or should i get him checked?

Hello,

How long had he been in brumation prior to now? They can at times, go back in to a slight
brumation phase but very lightly if they weren't quite ready to come out full force. Ours
have done that before as well.
Is he losing weight that you can tell or is he stable? I would check his weight & fat pads to
be sure he appears stable. If not, then definitely rip him out of his sleeping & try to get food
into him so you can get a fecal done to check for parasites, etc.
I would say though, he is likely just being lazy this time of year.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
