Hello.
I got my first beardie about a month ago and he is currently about 4 months old.
Recently he have began going to bed earlier and earlier like today at 17:30 and yesterday at 19:30
While when I got him he was up til about 22:00. I am a little concerned that something might be wrong.

This is his current setup. He sleeps inside the cave I've made for him.
The tank holds about 33c in the basking spot and 26c on the cooler side

During the day he seems happy and can be very active when he is done basking. He usually run around, eats (Refuses to drink tho). He seem to like laying on my chest while I pet him carefully and he also seem to like running around my livingroom exploring.

I give him D3 and calcium with him meals and I have a Mercury Vapor UVB/UVA Bulb 125w
SOLAR-GLO 125W EXOTERRA UVA-UVB
His light turns on at 08:00 and off at 20:40 in the evening.

He may just be settling into his light schedule. It sounds like he's OK. You might consider bringing the lights on an hour or two earlier than you are. They tend to like long days and it helps to give them some time to warm up and wake up a bit before breakfast time.

You'll want your basking surface to be a bit warmer. Shoot for about 38-42 right on top of that rock. You may need to move the probe to get an accurate reading. 26 on the cool side is good. How far above the basking spot is your Solar Glo? That should be at around 25-30cm for best UVB output.

I'll set my timer to 07:00 then :)
The pulb is about 30 cm away from his basking spot.
Thank you for the feedback!

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
