My beardie, Glaedr, is eating fewer vegetables than normal, basking less, and sleeping more. Is this normal for beardies of his age? (he is 9 months old)

He's a bit younger than usual for brumation but if he's otherwise healthy and his weight is stable I'd let him do his thing. Keep the lights on the same schedule but take him out to weigh him and offer some water once or twice per week (or when he perks up).

He is a weirdo and refuses to drink water. We have tried to give him it with a syringe, and refused it, but I will try again. We don't have a scale, so we don't know how much he weighs, but he isn't skinny, so I think he is good. Thanks for the feedback.CooperDragon":3inl6ayh said:
That's OK if he refuses. Don't force it, just offer some so he can rehydrate if he needs to. It's good that he doesn't look skinny. Overall it's probably good to invest in a kitchen scale so you can track his weight closely. They aren't too expensive (usually $20-30 or so) and if you can see how his weight is trending overall it's a good way to catch any health issues early on.
