I have a Reptisun terrarium hood t5 output along the back of terrarium and in front I have a dual lamp fixture with a 100w basking light and a Reptisun uvb light. Just wondering if that's too much uvb for my Bearded? He's 7 months about 13 in. His tank is a 40 gallon 36x18x18

 It's virtually impossible for a bearded dragon to get too much UVB!

That being said, it sounds like you have the Reptisun compact coil UVB inside your dual lamp fixture, which actually presents a different problem. Coil-type UVBs are very intense, and some bearded dragon keepers have reported that it bothers their bearded dragons' eyes and may cause vision damage.

How old is your Reptisun T5 bulb?

Perfect. That will be good for the next 6 months.

Go ahead and remove the Reptisun coil bulb from the dual fixture. If you prefer more light, you can replace it with a normal incandescent bulb.

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
