That's exactly how I would plan my ventilation to allow for the hot air to be drawn out the top, pulling cooler air through the bottom.

It's OK.
Only I'd use some round cupboard vents near the bottom of cool zone end's wall. (like these https://www.bunnings.com.au/haron-40mm-black-round-cupboard-vent_p0811770 )
This will help draw in cool fresh air from outside the viv and help avoid creating a stagnant pool of air there.

I figured the big rectangular vent at the bottom cool side would be plenty to draw in fresh air.
