Parasites from Dandilions?

My beardie, Zilla has parasites. She got them back in Dec. also & only thing I can think of that caused it is from crickets I get at Petco. But lately I've also been giving her dandilions from my yard; she loves them! I rinse them off but could the dandilions carry parasites? We have dogs & wildlife run thru the yard, if that could be a factor (poop).
If the dandilions can carry parasites would rinsing them off with water get rid of them, or is there another process that works? I would hate to have to stop giving her them when its one of her favorites. Another odd question as its a weed, has anyone tried growing dandilions (for safe feeding)? I read beardies can eat "Dandilion Greens" but not sure if thats different from the weed.
(Sorry this is under ER. Was meant for Health.)

I would think it's the crickets From petco. Usually anything that's alive that comes from there is sick. I would be moreally worried about pesticides on the dandelions.

Yeah I would think it's most likely transmitted from food that came in contact with reptile poop that was infected. The main concern with wild plants is pesticides. When I offer veges I just give them a good rinse and scrub with my hands before serving them. Same as how I treat veges for my own food.

What parasites? Rinsing probably won't do much but depending on what you are treating you may need different hygiene practices to keep her from re infecting herself.

Depending on where you live greens could be a vector for parasites - if you have a wild lizard population.

Dandelion greens are the leaves, same plant as the weed in your yard that flowers :)

Not exactly sure what type of parasite she has. The people at the vet havent dealt much with that so they werent even really sure what to look for! Thought they would learn that in vet school. But Zilla was put on Panacur so hopefully it will take care of problem. I switched to using newspaper as soon as I found out & wash everything daily, including tank. She had hook worms in Dec. so went thru same process. Is there a spray or something I can treat crickets & outside plants with to kill any parasites w/o harming lizard? Btw I live in MN so no wild lizards here! lol Just deer, racoons, skunks, & neighborhood dogs roam thru yard. But they do poop in it! Big yard so no chance of pesticides on plants.

Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
