I have a 5 year old bearded dragon who is big and fat, but all he does now is just sleep in his bed, get out to bask, and eat his greens then he goes back to his bed. I'm not worried because he seems healthy, he still drinks and looks like a fat bearded dragon. I'm just wondering if this is normal sense he's getting older. Please help, thank you

Hello,

Can you run over your tank setup with us such as the type/brand of UVB, supplementation & temperatures so we can make sure it's all correct, first.
I am glad to hear he is eating some greens though. How long has he been this way?
It sounds like he has slown down some for brumation right now. At 5, that is perfectly normal. You can post some pictures so we can see what he looks like also.
If he isn't losing any weight, that is a good sign he's healthy.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
