I will never use a compact again. When I got my little girl, I knew nothing about beardies. This was completely my own fault, but I got the starter kit from Petco, which came with a compact UVB. Within two weeks, she had an eye infection. We took her to the vet, who gave her some eyedrops. We got a ReptiSun 10 T8, and within a week her eyes were alert and open. I will always recommend a tube over a compact bulb now.
